Аннотация: The present volume continues the account of the scientific findings of the fisheries and oceanographic research carried out by the TINRO and VNIRO research expedition in the Bering Sea. The paper by P.A. Moiseev summarizes the preliminary results of the TINRO and VNIRO research expedition, which indicate that the area covered by the expedition has turned into an important commercial area which annually yields 6-7 million centners of valuable raw material. All information on the geology, hydrology and ichthyology of the sea obtained by the expedition has been generalized. It is emphasized that fishery in this area should be conducted on a rational basis.
