Аннотация: Представлен обзор участия специалистов ВНИРО в международных рыбохозяйственных организациях Северной Атлантики за более чем 70-летний период функционирования института. Показан вклад российских ученых в развитие морских исследований и выработку принципов рационального долгосрочного устойчивого использования водных биологических ресурсов региона в рамках ИКЕС, НЕАФК и НАФО./This is a review of the involvement of VNIRO's experts in the international fishery organizations for the North Atlantic covering an over than 70 year period of the existence of the Institute. It depicts the contribution of Russian scientists to the development of marine research, and to generating the principles of rational sustainable long-range use of the region's aquatic living resources under the auspices of ICES, NEAFC and NAFO.
