Аннотация: Приведены результаты многолетних (1986-2002 гг.) исследований, полученные в процессе разработки технологии выращивания приморского гребешка Mizuhopecten yessoensis (Jay). Представлены сведения о динамике численности личинок в планктоне и эффективности сбора молоди гребешка на коллекторы. Оценены выживаемость и рост моллюсков на коллекторах и в донной культуре. Показано, что экономически предпочтительным вариантом культивирования гребешка оказывается донный способ выращивания этих моллюсков./The results of the long-term (1986-2002) study, obtained in the process of development of the technology of industrial cultivation of the Japanese scallop Mizuhopecten yessoensis (Jay), are produced. The data on abundance dynamics of plankton larvae and efficacy of scallop juvenile collection from collectors in different cultivation areas are presented. Survival and growth of mollusks on collectors and in bottom culture are estimated. A conclusion about the highest efficiency of the bottom culture of industial scallop cultivation in Primorsky Krai coastal waters is grounded.

Аннотация: In total, 29 large vessels participated in the dredging for Iceland scallops in the svalbard area in the late 1980s. Highest landings of scallop meat were 4000 tons in 1987, and tha last scallop dredger left the areas in 1992. The most exploited beds were close to Bear Island and around Moffen, north of Svalbard. This major effort resulted in a heavy depletion during of the beds in this area, and slow growth and infrequent recruitment indicated long recovery time. Iceland scallop beds significant for fishery were surveyed during a cruise in August 2006, and the status of the stocks 15-20 years after depletion are presented. A future potential for a new fishery for the Iceland scallops in these areas are discussed, based on the observed recovery time for the different beds.
