Аннотация: Проведённые в 2006-2007 гг. исследования свидетельствуют о высоком репродуктивном потенциале основных промысловых рыб Азовского бассейна. Однако большинство показателей обмена ниже нормы, что связано с особенностями экологических условий в период нагула и зимовки 2006-2007 гг. У изученных видов отмечается 25% особей с различной степенью выраженности изменений в состоянии органов, их структуры, клеточного и биохимического состава, что является отклонением от нормы и указывает на наличие негативного воздействия со стороны факторов среды обитания./Studies conducted in 2006-2007 evidence that reproductive potential of main commercial fish species in the azov Sea is high. However, some of the metabolic indices are lower than standards, which can be explained by specific ecological conditions during spawning and wintering in 2006-2007. 25% of the species studied have changes of different degrees of manifestation in their organs, structure, cell and biochemical composition, which is a deviation from standard and is a consequence of negative effects of environmental factors.

Для сохранения рапаны как промыслового объекта необходима отмена ограничений на вылов моллюска и разработка перспективных технологий его переработки./Worsening of tropic relations in bottom biocenoses of the Black Sea entailed some biochemical changes in the metabolism of rapana followed by functional and structural rearrangements that are typical of a population in a depressive state. These changes affected the abundance, structure and biomass of the population. To preserve rapana as a commercial species, restrictions on its fishing should be abolished, and advanced technologies of rapana processing shold be developed.

Аннотация: На основании анализа рыбоводных, биохимических и гистологических показателей молоди кеты, выращиваемой при температурном режиме 3-5 гр. С на Паратунском лососёвом рыбоводном заводе (ПЛРЗ), установлено, что наиболее эффективным импортным рационом для неё является комбикорм марки "BioDiet" американского производства. Последнее обеспечивает наиболее высокие показатели роста и выживаемости рыб при наименьших кормовых затратах и наилучших биохимических и гистологических показателях. Это позволило заключить, что пищевые потребности молоди кеты при данной температуре лучше удовлетворяют полувлажные корма с высоким содержанием жира (18%) и полиненасыщенных жирных кислот./Analysis of biochemical, histological and hatchery rearing, indexes of juvenile chum samon reared in the Paratunsky Hatchery under the temperature 3-5 degrees C has revealed that the most effective foodstuff among imported samples was the "BioDiet" trade mark foodstuff made in the USA. The highest growth and survival of the fishes at minimal forage costs and the best biochemical and histological indexes were demonstrated when the foodstuff had been applied. That allows to conclude that the food requirements of juvenile chum salmon at the termperature mentioned can be covered the best by semi-wet foodstuff with the high percent (18%) of fat and polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Большой Вилюй и искусственном выращивании при невысоких температурах на Вилюйском ЛРЗ в 2004 г., впервые показано, что состав мышц тела молоди заводского кижуча возраста 1+ по содержанию липидов составляет 4,59% сырого вещества, много превышая данный показатель у молоди кижуча естественного происхождения (1,35%)./On the base of analysis of a number of biochemical and histological studies of wild juvenile coho salmon in salty and warmed lake Bolshoy Viluy and hatchery coho salmon reared under low temperatures in the Viluysky Salmon Hatchery in 2004 it was demonstrated first time that muscle tissues of hatchery juvenile coho salmon (the age 1+) takes 4.59% of raw substance in the content of lipids, what is much higher being compared to that in wild juvenile coho salmon (1.35%).

Аннотация: Получены первые данные, характеризующие особенности строения гонад и содержания в них химических веществ (жир, вода, белки, минеральные вещества) у неполовозрелых самок и самцов кеты и нерки, находящиеся в скоплениях вместе со зрелыми особями, совершающими преднерестовые миграции. В качестве критерия незрелости половых желез кеты и нерки предложено считать: у самок - показатель содержания воды в гонадах выше 70%, у самцов - показатель содержания минеральных веществ ниже 2,0% для кеты и ниже 3,0 для нерки./First data have been obtained on structural peculiarities of gonads and chemical composition of gonad content (fat, water, proteins, mineral substances) of immature females and males of chum and sockeye salmons both persisting in mixed aggregations jointly with mature individuals undertaking prespawning migrations. The criterion of immature state of gonads of chum and sockeye salmons suggested is: for the females - the index of water content in gonads 70% at least, and for males - the index of the content of mineral substances less than 2,0% (chum salmon) and less than 3,0% (sockeye salmon).

Аннотация: Spatial and temporal variability in stocks and biochemical composition of dissolved and particulate organic matter (OM) in the Black sea shelf waters. Rates of the OM oxidation in the Caucasian shelf waters of the Black Sea increase in autumn leading to decline in the OM stocks by 1,5-3 times compared to summer both in the surface, and the bottom layers. Average period of the phosphate turnover is 10-20 h along the entire studied coastal area; thus, the phosphate recycling provides for intensive primary production of OM in summer. Owing to the active protease, coastal ecosystems utilize all the available protein during one day.

Аннотация: Three years after an oil spillage in Kerch Strait (November 2007), we undertook a hydrological and hydrochemical survey in the Strait body itself and adjacent waters of the Black Sea and Taman' Bight aimed at assessment of conditions of the Strait ecosystem functioning and productivity formation. The survey showed that this spillage did not affect life conditions of the local biota directly. Already a year later (2008), there was on oil contamination found, except some puddles of fuel oil in the Taman' Bight bottom waters. Later, in 2009 and 2010, we observed usual distribution of oxygen and nutrient concentrations, a fairly intensive development of phytoplankton which biomass indicated a high trophic level almost everywhere.

Аннотация: The review on organic matter (OM) as an indicator of productivity of water basins presents a discussion of modern concepts about influxes, transformation, and an outflow of OM from its cycle. Particular attention is paid to rates of primary production of OM in various ecosystems of the Word ocean and the OM input with the riverine discharge. Techniques of the most representative determination of concentrations of major OM constituents (C org, N org and P org) are described. Distribution of the oceanic OM between solution, particulate matter, and sediments is shown. Role of colloidal OM in the organic matter export from the photic layer down to the bottom sediments is outlined. It is shown that in temperate waters dissolved OM is the main form of exported production. The review describes individual importance of the OM biochemical constituents (mainly proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids) in estimates of productivity for autotrophs and heterotrophs, as well as in assessment of contamination levels in some basins. Routes of the OM consumption and transformation in the marine ecosystem are analyzed. Rates of the OM transformation and oxidation estimated on respective hydrolytic and redox enzymes are cited.

Аннотация: The review on organic matter (OM) as an indicator of productivity of water basins presents a discussion of modern concepts about influxes, transformation, and an outflow of OM from its cycle. Particular attention is paid to rates of primary production of OM in various ecosystems of the Word ocean and the OM input with the riverine discharge. Techniques of the most representative determination of concentrations of major OM constituents (C org, N org and P org) are described. Distribution of the oceanic OM between solution, particulate matter, and sediments is shown. Role of colloidal OM in the organic matter export from the photic layer down to the bottom sediments is outlined. It is shown that in temperate waters dissolved OM is the main form of exported production. The review describes individual importance of the OM biochemical constituents (mainly proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids) in estimates of productivity for autotrophs and heterotrophs, as well as in assessment of contamination levels in some basins. Routes of the OM consumption and transformation in the marine ecosystem are analyzed. Rates of the OM transformation and oxidation estimated on respective hydrolytic and redox enzymes are cited.

Аннотация: Oceanographic surveys of high spatial resolution were carried out in the western Bering Sea during past few years, which allow estimating primary production in the region based on drawdowns of nutrients. Present work suggests a new method of net (≈ to new) and gross (≈ total) primary production assessment based on summer or autumn nutrients and dissolved oxygen profiles. For 2012, gross (or total) primary production in the region was in range of 50-250 g C m-2 a-1, while net community (or new) primary production reached 30-80 g C m-2 a-1. New to total production ratio was in range of 0.2-0.8. The presented new method revealed good agreement with previous studies and supposed for use in the future ivestigations.

Аннотация: Quantities and biochemical composition of dissolved and particulate organic matter (OM) as well as rates of the OM transformation in the Russian Arctic seas are analyzed. There is a significant variability in the OM concentrations with the maximum concentrations of dissolved and particulate OM in the White and Kara seas, while the minimum ones were observed in the East-Siberian Sea. Rates of the OM oxidation were maximum in various frontal zones formed with water masses of different origin as well as the seasonal ice melting. It is shown that despite low temperatures in the Arctic marine ecosystems, there is an intensive transformation of both autochthonous, and allochthonous OM, because local phsycrophils expend low activation energies on oxidation and hydrolytic splitting of OM. In the Arctic seas, the main biochemical components of the dissolved OM are carbohydrates and lipids, while proteins and carbohydrates dominate in the particulate OM.
