Аннотация: Изучалось разнообразие рыб пресных вод южных Курильских островов. На основе собственных и литературных данных предпринята попытка понять и объяснить причины формирования современного состава ихтиофауны в связи с характером водоёмов и их происхождением. В работе содержатся подробная характеристика некоторых водоёмов островов Итуруп, Кунашир и Шикотан, общий состав ихтиофауны, списки видов отдельных водоёмов, описаны уникальные особенности биологии ряда видов, определяемые гидрологическими характеристиками и возрастом водоёмов и прежде всего параметрами температурного режима. Привлекается внимание к слабой проработке критериев или уровней эндемизма, связанных с разным возрастом обособления популяций./Diversity of freshwater fishes of southern Kuriles was studied. Based on literary and own data we tried to understand and explain reasons of formation of modern ichthyofauna structure depending on the character of reservoirs and their origin. Detailed characteristics of some reservoirs of the southern Kuriles islands, general ichthyofauna composition, lists of fishes of some reservoirs are shown in the paper. Description is given of unique features of biology of some species determined by hydrological characteristics, age of reservoirs, and first of all, by temperature parameters. Attention is drawn to poor study of criteria or levels endemism which depend on different age of isolation of populations.
