Аннотация: По материалам, собранным весной и осенью 2001-2007 гг., изучен видовой состав и распределение донной фауны. Установлено, что уменьшение количественного развития двустворчатых моллюсков в 2005-2007 гг. по сравнению с 2001-2002 гг. вызвал пресс хищничества брюхоногого моллюска рапаны и гребневика мнемиопсиса. Уменьшение численности рапаны и мнемиопсиса, отмеченные в последние годы, положительно повлияют на структуру и продукционную характеристику сообщества двустворчатых моллюсков в северо-восточной части Чёрного моря./Species composition and distribution of the bottom fauna observed in the years 2001-2007 have been studied. The number of bivalves showed a downward trend in 2005-2007 vs. 2001-2002, which caused the rapana and mnemiopsis predation. The decrease in the abundance of the rapana and mnemiopsis will have a positive effect on the structure and productive characteristics of the bivalve communities in the north-eastern Black Sea.

Аннотация: Обострение трофических отношений в донных биоценозах Чёрного моря обусловило ряд биохимических изменений в метаболизме рапаны, повлекших за собой функциональные и структурные перестройки в популяции, характерные для вида, находящегося в депрессивном состоянии. Это отразилось на численности, структуре и биомассе популяции. Для сохранения рапаны как промыслового объекта необходима отмена ограничений на вылов моллюска и разработка перспективных технологий его переработки./Worsening of tropic relations in bottom biocenoses of the Black Sea entailed some biochemical changes in the metabolism of rapana followed by functional and structural rearrangements that are typical of a population in a depressive state. These changes affected the abundance, structure and biomass of the population. To preserve rapana as a commercial species, restrictions on its fishing should be abolished, and advanced technologies of rapana processing shold be developed.

Аннотация: Veined rapa whelk (Rapana venosa) was first recorded in the Black Sea in 1947 near Novorossiysk and by the 1970s it spread along the whole Black Sea coasts. In this time interval the rapa whelk population was stabilized in number and during the 1980s its annual fluctuations depended only from climate changes. In recent years we have observed a decrease in rapa whelk size, its earlier spawning and larval settling on submerged substrate and flattening of regional morphological changes. Based on the data analysis for 1970-2010, we offered the hypothesis that the changes in the rapa whelk biology had occurred owing to the change of the lecithotrophic larval development pattern from the years of abundant food supply to the planktotrophic one in the years with low feeding benthos mass.

Аннотация: Veined rapa whelk (Rapana venosa) was first recorded in the Black Sea in 1947 near Novorossiysk and by the 1970s it spread along the whole Black Sea coasts. In this time interval the rapa whelk population was stabilized in number and during the 1980s its annual fluctuations depended only from climate changes.
