Аннотация: Выполнено сравнение оценок численности мойвы, полученных Рабочей группой ИКЕС по северным пелагическим рыбам и путассу, и количества вылавливаемой и потребляемой треской мойвы. В результате показано, что в процессе съёмки недооценивается численность мойвы старших возрастных групп (4-6 лет), а в годы, когда численность запаса мала, недооценивается численность рыб всех возрастных групп. Использование данных о потреблении мойвы треской и вылове мойвы различного возраста позволяет откорректировать оценки численности мойвы./Estimates of capelin abundance by the ICES Northern Pelagic and Blue Whiting Fisheries WG were compared with capelin catches and consumption of capelin by cod. It was shown that surveys underestimate the abundance of capelin from older age groups (4-6 years). In the years when capelin stock is low, the abundance of all age groups is underestimated. The use of data on consumption by cod and catches of capelin of different age allows the correction of capelin abundance estimates.

Аннотация: По результатам комплексной съёмки верхней эпипелагиали северо-западной части Тихого океана в июне-июле 2009 г. представлено распределение температуры, солёности, фито- и зоопланктона, нектона, в том числе горбуши и кеты. Приведены оценки переноса вод, биомассы планктона (по размерным фракциям и таксономическим группам), биомассы и численности нектона. Схема циркуляции вод характеризовалась "сжатым" состоянием Западного Субарктического круговорота. В зоопланктоне доминировали копеподы (60,8 % биомассы), в нектоне - тихоокеанские лососи. Соотношение биомассы планктона и нектона варьировало по биостатическим районам от 23,9 до 195,1 (среднее 46,7)./The data are analyzed of the upper pelagic layer integrated survey conducted in the North-West Pacific in the early summer of 2009. Spatial distribution of water temperature and salinity is considered. Geostrophic water transport is estimated, and the main circulation pattern is defined as the "compressed" type of the Western Subarctic Gyre that is distinguished by heightened intensity of the western boundary current. State of planktonic communities was similar with that one in summer seasons of previous years. Ratio of plankton and nekton biomasses varied from 23.9 to 195.1 decreasing from the north-west to the south-east, with the average value 46.7.

Аннотация: During the course of the late 80s - early 90s, the Black Sea area before the Kerch Strait was subjected to strong anthropogenic silting. As a result the area occupied by all the biocenoses, except for Terebellides stroёmi biocenosis, was reduced by 1.8 times from 4.399 thousand km2 to 2.491 thousand km2. Ascidiella aspersa biocenosis was completely lost. Its disappearance is also explained by the silt discharge from the Kerch Strait. Succession of Modiolus phaseolinus biocenosis and partially of Mytilus galloprovincialis one occurred into T. stroёmi biocenosis. A reduction of species diversity and abundance over all the silted biocenoses was observed. A decrease in the dominant species abundance was of great importance for the reduced number of the biocenoses. The species composition over the destroyed sites became more leveled in relation to the initial biocenoses. The net result was that communities of Pitar rudis and Spisula subtruncata were formed and the area of Terebellides stroёmi biocenosis was increased. It was found that Nephthys hombergii, N. longicornis and T. stroёmi are best tolerant of silting. Sponges do not withstand silting at all.
