Аннотация: В работе представлены результаты эхометрических исследований трёх экспедиций ВНИРО в атлантический сектор Антарктики. Объект исследований - миктофиды. Гидроакустические работы в этих экспедициях включали: проведение эхометрических съёмок, изучение поведения скоплений, определение степени наполнения трала и промысловой значимости при облове скоплений миктофид./The article presents data of acoustic surveys from three cruises of VNIRO to the Antarctic Atlantic Sector. Lanternfish were the object of research. Hydroacoustic investigations in these cruises included assessment surveys, behaviour studies, estimates of the accumulation of the catch in the trawl and the evaluation of commercial importance of exploited lanternfish concentrations. Biomass assessments for surveyed areas in different seasons are given. It is noted that summer and summer-autumn periods favour acoustic surveys, while summer is more preferable for fishing operations. The method is suggested for the evaluation of commercial importance of concentrations and control of the catch accumulation in the trawl during fishing operations using echo integration through relevant regression equations.

Приведены результаты микросъёмок, выполненных раздельно - днём и ночью. Показаны различия измеренных плотностных величин смешанных рыбных скоплений в тёмное и светлое время суток. Рассмотрена проблема выбора того или иного времени суток для выполнения акустических работ, приведены их достоинства и недостатки./The present paper is based on the principle of comparison between two periods of the day (dark and light) to conduct a trawling-acoustic survey. The results of micro-surveys conducted separately, i.e. in the day-time and at night, are presented. The differences in the density values for mixed fish concentrations measured in the dark and light periods are shown. The problem of choice this or that time of the day to carry out acoustic surveys is discussed; advantages and disadvantages for both are given.

Аннотация: Учёт особенностей поведения промысловых рыб в краткосрочных масштабах времени является важным звеном промыслового прогнозирования. Анализ результатов тралово-акустических съёмок в районах Западно-Европейской котловины и подводной возвышенности Роколл в последние годы показывает значительные межгодовые сдвиги в суточной динамике поведения нерестовых скоплений путассу. В работе приводятся основные закономерности этой изменчивости, показано, что несмотря на значительные межгодовые вариации условий среды, суточное поведение путассу характеризуется набором устойчиво проявляющихся двигательных актов. На основе математической модели, описывающей суточный баланс радиоизлучения Земли и его воздействие на океанические воды, предложен возможный механизм формирования таких двигательных актов. Выявленные закономерности закладывают предпосылки для расчёта сроков уплотнения скоплений путассу в районах нереста до начала путины и выработки на их основе тактических рекомендаций промысловым судам./Behavioural peculiarities of commercial fish species in the large temporal scale must be taken into account as an important element for the fishery forecasting. Data of the trawling-acoustic surveys which have been conducted in the West-European Basin and Rockoll Bank area of late demonstrate considerable interannual shifts in the behavioural diurnal dynamics of blue whiting spawning concentrations. Basic regularities of the above variability are presented. It is demonstrated that in spite of the significant environmental variations diurnal behaviour of blue whiting is characterized by a number of stable motor actions. Basing a mathematical model describing diurnal balance of Earth's radio radiation and its impact on the sea waters a mechanism of such motor actions formation is suggested. The revealed regularities lay premises to determine periods when the species concentrations become more dense in the fishing areas prior the beginning of fishery and work out tactical recommendations for fishing vessels on their basis.

Аннотация: Произведены измерения сил целей тихоокеанского кальмара Todarodes pacificus в одном из районов его обитания - в зал. Петра Великого. В указанном районе планируются акустические съёмки этого вида. Такое совмещение измерений сил целей и акустической съёмки более корректно, чем только режим ex situ, при котором места поимки и измерения сил целей объекта могут различаться по физическим и биологическим условиям. С помощью методики привязывания особей на поводцах экспериментально получены регрессионные зависимости дорсальной отражательной способности (силы цели) тихоокеанского кальмара от длины тела на частотах 70 и 120 кГц./Acoustic target strength is measured for japanese common squid (Todarodes pacificus) in one of the main its habitats - Peter the Great Bay (Japan Sea) were acoustic surveys of this species stock are planned. The measurement of target strength in actual areas of survey enhances the correctness of the survey in compare with ex situ operating mode when the object target strength could be measured in physical and biological conditions different from those in the surveyed are. Technique of the squid individuals attachment by lead is used that allows to determine experimentally the empirical dependence of the dorsal reflectivity (target strength) of the squid TS on its mantle length ML - 161.5 (r = 0.90) and TS = 96.55 lg ML - 173.3 (r = 0.95).
