Аннотация: В работе представлены материалы исследований планктонных инфузорий северо-восточной части Чёрного моря за 2001-2007 гг. Даны характеристики таксономической и размерной структур, показано пространственно-временное распределение и приведено соотношение их биомассы с биомассой мезопланктона. Сравнение с предшествующими исследованиями показало стабильность состояния цилиатного сообщества. В 2006-2007 гг. отмечена тенденция увеличения количественных показателей планктонных инфузорий в прибрежье Чёрного моря./Materials are presented on plankton infusoria collected in the north-eastern Black Sea in the years 2001-2007. Taxonomic and size structures are characterized, the spatial-temporal distribution is shown and the ratio between their biomass and the biomass of mesoplankton is given. Comparison with preceding studies has been done and the ciliate community is found to be stable. In 2006-2007 the abundance of plankton infusoria increased in the Black Sea coastal regions.

Аннотация: A number of plankton laser meters of TRAP family has been developed in VNIRO to estimate the size and quantitative composition of mesoplankton directly in the water column with simultaneous visualization of its spatial distribution both in the mode of vertical probing at the stations and that of vessel running by means of the towed carrier or pumping system. A good choice of the Black Sea as a place for testing, due to the peculiarities of its hydrology, will significantly reduce and optimize the design and verification of virtually all models of plankton laser meters in the TRAP family. Examples of the most significant results obtained during the sea trials of the probe carried out withing various areas of the World Ocean are given.
