Аннотация: Приводятся данные по ОДУ, вылову и степени освоения рыб в подзоне Приморье с 1986 по 2008 г. Дана оценка риска организации устойчивого промысла рыбных объектов. Проведён анализ промысловой практики с целью выявления факторов, обуславливающих уровень освоения рыбы в Приморье. Дано объяснение низкой степени освоения рыбных запасов в последний период. Предложены рекомендации организации результативной промысловой практики./Data on the total allowable catch and real annual catch in the Primorye subzone of the Japan Sea in 1986-2008 are analyzed. Risk of the steady fishery organization is estimated for the main objects. Practice of commercial fishery is analyzed for revealing the factors determining the level of fish resources reclamation in Primorye. Low degree of the reclamation in recent times is explained. Recommendations for effective fisheries are suggested.

The blue crab is an important commercial object with the main concentrations in the sublittoral and superbathyal zones of the northwestern Bering Sea and northern Okhotsk Sea. In the Japan Sea, this species was known previously on the northern Okhotsk Sea. In the Japan Sea, this species was known previously on the northwestern shelf northward from Peter the Great Bay, where it was caught together with king crab (P. camtschaticus) and snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio).

Оценку проводили в среднем течении 9 модельных рек в период нагула вида. Использовали метод площадей. Реки различной протяжённости различаются по численности и биомассе хариусов в среднем течении. Максимальные значения отмечены в малых водотоках (длиной до 20 км)./The grayling Thymallus tugarinae is a popular object for sport fishing in the Amur. Its number and biomass in the feeding period is estimated using the technique of CPUE extrapolation. The grayling lives in three biotopes: rift, pool, and reach. CPUE for each of them is estimated from catches of casting net (mesh size 5 mm, opening area 3 m2) in middle streams of nine rivers with different length, drainage, slope, etc. All rivers are divided to three types: small (length 50 km), medium (50-200km), and large (lenght 200 km).

Аннотация: The book considers relationships between climate changes and fish productivity of oceanic ecosystems. Long-term time series of various climatic indices, dynamics of phyto- and zooplankton and variation of commercieal fish populations in the most productive oceanic areas are analyzed. Comparison of climate index fluctuations and populations of major commercial species for the last 1500 years indicates on a coherent character of climate fluctuations and fish produciton dynamics. A simple stochastic model is suggested that makes it possible to predict trends of basic climatic indices and populations of some commercial fish species for several decades ahead. The approach based on the cyclic character of both climate and marine biota changes makes it possible to improve harvesting of commercial fish stocks depending on a phase (ascending or descending) of the long-term cycle of the fish population. In addition, this approach is helpful for making decisions on long-term investments in fishing fleet, enterprises, installations, etc. The results obtained also elucidate the old discussion: which factor is more influential on the long-term fluctuations of major commercieal stocks, climate of commercial fisheries?

Аннотация: Finding out the population structure of pollock is a complex procedure because of the species seasonal and ontogenetic migration intensity which undergoes significant interannual variations as dependent on the climate and ocean conditions, the abundance of population, and of the species in total. That is why, in order to obtain a comprehensive picture, the book reviews the results of a decade of integrated research (1996-2004) which included 26 cruises, 21 trawl surveys, 11 echointegration trawl surveys, 8 surveys of the juveniles and five ichthyoplankton surveys made in the northern, western and eastern parts of the Bering Sea where a novel approach developed by VNIRO was applied which involved serial repetition of surveys during a year. For the first time the results of such surveys made it possible to obtain information on the stock structure dynamics. The monograph reviews the organization of the Bering Sea pollock population using a virtually full set of approaches to the study of populations: genetic, ecological (biogeocenotic), morphological, biochemical, physiological, energy and ethological. The functional structure dynamics of the range between the 1970s and the present time was analyzed, as based on the own and published data.

Аннотация: Dynamics of the fishable biomass of the Barents Sea cod in 2000-2007 were stable, with an upward trend in recent years (2005-2007). The result of a correlation analysis made is that the "parents-progeny" relationship is not provided with a significant level, whereas the recruitment of cod aged 3 is directly related to the mean water temperature within 0-200 m, and correlation coefficient was 0.68. The analysis of the dependence of recruitment on water temperature was made formal which enabled us to generate a prognostic model, and evaluate the size of recruitment at age 3. The estimated fishable biomass forecat and TAC for cod of the Barents Sea based on GIS method showed that a possible yield in 2008 will be 629 thousand tons which is 1.5 times greater than it had been suggested by the AFWG.

Аннотация: На основе данных отраслевой системы мониторинга Росрыболовства, Министерства торговли, промышленности и рыболовства Норвегии, материалов Рабочей группы ИКЕС по арктическому рыболовству (AFWG) и протоколов Смешанной Российско-Норвежской Комиссии по рыболовству (СРНК), а также данных, собранных научными наблюдателями ФГБНУ «ВНИРО» на ярусных судах компании ООО «Персей» в 2013–2018 гг. анализируется современное состояние российского и норвежского рыбного промысла в Баренцевом море, осуществляемого донными нетраловыми орудиями лова с акцентом на ярусный лов. Поскольку ярусный промысел в гораздо большей степени чем тралы, ориентирован на отлов крупной, старшевозрастной рыбы, предлагается использовать эту специфику ярусного лова для ослабления возросшего в последние годы каннибализма в популяции трески. По мнению авторов, фактор каннибализма на фоне относительно благоприятных гидрологических условий может быть основной причиной наблюдающегося очередного сокращения запаса трески. Меры, направленные на расширение масштабов ярусного лова, особенно отечественного, доля которого составляет сейчас не более 6%, сдерживали бы негативное влияние каннибализма на запас трески./ Based on the data of the industry monitoring system of Rosrybolovstvo, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries of Norway, the materials of the ICES Working Group on Arctic Fishing (AFWG) and the protocols of the Joint Russian-Norwegian Fishery Commission (JRNFC), as well as data collected by the scientific observers of VNIRO on longline vessels of the «Persei» Company in 2013–2018, the current state of Russian and Norwegian fishing in the Barents Sea, carried out by bottom fishing gears, especially longline fishing, is analyzed. Since longline fishing is much more focused on large, older fish, it is suggested that this specificity of longline fishing is used to reduce the increased cannibalism in the cod population in recent years. In our opinion, the phenomenon of cannibalism against the relatively favorable hydrological conditions may be the main reason for the observed next reduction in the cod stock. Measures aimed at expanding the scale of longline fishing, especially domestic fishing, which currently accounts for no more than 6%, would moderate the negative impact of cannibalism on cod stocks.

Аннотация: На основе данных отраслевой системы мониторинга Росрыболовства, Министерства торговли, промышленности и рыболовства Норвегии, материалов Рабочей группы ИКЕС по арктическому рыболовству (AFWG) и протоколов Смешанной Российско-Норвежской Комиссии по рыболовству (СРНК), а также данных, собранных научными наблюдателями ФГБНУ «ВНИРО» на ярусных судах компании ООО «Персей» в 2013–2018 гг. анализируется современное состояние российского и норвежского рыбного промысла в Баренцевом море, осуществляемого донными нетраловыми орудиями лова с акцентом на ярусный лов. Поскольку ярусный промысел в гораздо большей степени чем тралы, ориентирован на отлов крупной, старшевозрастной рыбы, предлагается использовать эту специфику ярусного лова для ослабления возросшего в последние годы каннибализма в популяции трески. По мнению авторов, фактор каннибализма на фоне относительно благоприятных гидрологических условий может быть основной причиной наблюдающегося очередного сокращения запаса трески. Меры, направленные на расширение масштабов ярусного лова, особенно отечественного, доля которого составляет сейчас не более 6%, сдерживали бы негативное влияние каннибализма на запас трески./ Based on the data of the industry monitoring system of Rosrybolovstvo, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries of Norway, the materials of the ICES Working Group on Arctic Fishing (AFWG) and the protocols of the Joint Russian-Norwegian Fishery Commission (JRNFC), as well as data collected by the scientific observers of VNIRO on longline vessels of the «Persei» Company in 2013–2018, the current state of Russian and Norwegian fishing in the Barents Sea, carried out by bottom fishing gears, especially longline fishing, is analyzed. Since longline fishing is much more focused on large, older fish, it is suggested that this specificity of longline fishing is used to reduce the increased cannibalism in the cod population in recent years. Аннотация: Veined rapa whelk (Rapana venosa) was first recorded in the Black Sea in 1947 near Novorossiysk and by the 1970s it spread along the whole Black Sea coasts. In this time interval the rapa whelk population was stabilized in number and during the 1980s its annual fluctuations depended only from climate changes. In recent years we have observed a decrease in rapa whelk size, its earlier spawning and larval settling on submerged substrate and flattening of regional morphological changes. Based on the data analysis for 1970-2010, we offered the hypothesis that the changes in the rapa whelk biology had occurred owing to the change of the lecithotrophic larval development pattern from the years of abundant food supply to the planktotrophic one in the years with low feeding benthos mass.
